With a mission to guide the future of business, Stanford turned to CH Reynolds to design and install a level of IT infrastructure that would support a new type of learning center. CH Reynolds provided the technological backbone for Stanford’s new state-of-the-art campus to house the Knight Management Center in its Graduate School of Business. The build-out of the center, which comprises nine multi-story student classrooms and lecture halls, required the latest solutions for voice, data and video. Stanford wanted it to be a showpiece.
The project involved a multi-year construction process, during which CH Reynolds remained a key partner, handling every aspect of the telecommunications installation for the campus. Stanford counted on CH Reynolds’ deep experience providing data services to educational institutions to ensure that the Knight Management Center would function smoothly from Day One. CH Reynolds’ skilled project managers were there from start to finish, carefully guiding the project through difficult situations, including weather delays that halted construction, to deliver exactly the end result Stanford wanted.
The resulting campus center houses 2,400 data locations spread out over 450,000 square feet of building space. CH Reynolds’ BICSI and manufacturer-certified technicians oversaw the installation of 2,000 fusions and 1,200 pairs of Cat 3 PE89 cable.
“We chose CH Reynolds for this multi-year, multi-phased project because we knew that their commitment to quality would not waver over time. What we achieved with the Knight Management Center speaks to their dedicated management style”. – Stanford University
